ISBAK Istanbul IT and Smart City Technologies Inc. (“ISBAK Inc.) takes all kinds of technical and legal measures in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law (“KVKK”), No. 6698 in the processing of your personal data due to the activities it carries out. Data subjects can access detailed information about the processing of their personal data, transferring them to third parties, legal reasons for collecting personal data and their rights under the KVKK in the following text.

Your personal data is processed by the data controller or the real legal persons to be appointed by the data controller under the following conditions and conditions:

  1. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
  • To perform the services within the scope of the duties and responsibilities of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality ("IBB") as per the Metropolitan Municipality Law No. 5216 and the relevant legislation,
  • To carry out "Smart City Istanbul" projects with sustainable solutions to contribute to the development of R&D activities, innovation, domestic production and entrepreneurship,
  • To implement projects that will carry Istanbul to the future and increase the life quality of the city residents and guests,
  • To ensure communication and cooperation between our company and IBB and other affiliated companies of IBB, and to ensure coordination, carry out common businesses, identify the needs of our customers and employees, fulfill the obligations related to the contract, ensure customer follow-up, occupational health and safety and business continuity, create a common database, facilitate the operability of the common database, provide ease of communication and marketing, brand and reputation management,
  • To provide healthy service to the residents in Istanbul and people who are in our city for various reasons and to increase the quality of life and living standards of citizens living in Istanbul and to ensure that they benefit from public services effectively and quickly,
  • To improve, develop, diversify our services and offer alternatives to real/legal persons with whom we have commercial relations,
  • To prepare various reports, researches and presentations, to plan emergency management processes, to follow up financial and accounting affairs, to ensure security in our company,
  • To ensure that the products and services produced and offered by our company, IBB and other affiliate companies of IBB are delivered to consumers, suppliers, business partners and public institutions in a sound way in line with the realization of our commercial/public and social purposes,
  • To carry out the necessary quality and standard audits or to fulfill our other obligations determined by laws and regulations,
  • To ensure the progress of the projects we are carrying out and to make a notification in accordance with the relevant legislation,
  • To organize our Company's commercial books, invoices, tenders, checks and payrolls and to carry out the processes of these transactions in accordance with the regulations,
  • Within the scope of our obligations arising from the legislation, in order to take necessary measures for occupational health and safety, to plan and carry out training processes, to make early intervention in health-related issues,
  • To fulfill the demands of the judicial bodies, municipalities and other relevant public institutions and organizations,
  • To report changes in legislation or policies we accept or to make notifications concerning the data subject,
  • To introduce and announce our company and the events and to inform the public with the photographs and videos taken at meetings, seminars and other social organizations, award ceremonies, corporate meetings organized/attended by our company
  • To carry out activities such as event, tournament, meeting, conference, training etc.,
  • To execute and follow financial reporting and risk management procedures, to create and follow-up visitors’ records, to develop and improve public relations and marketing policies,
  • To determine and implement our commercial business strategies,
  • To establish a contractual relationship,
  • To ensure the full performance of the contracts to which our company is a party and to control that the other parties perform the contracts in full,
  • To ensure the legal security of real/legal persons who have a commercial relationship with our company,
  • To fulfill our sales/after-sales obligations,
  • To ensure the security of our employees, our guests and the buildings owned by our Company with camera recording and other security measures and to control the entrances and exits,
  • To ensure the efficient and effective use of the tools and equipment delivered to our employees,
  • To evaluate the suitability and continuity of our employees and potential employees within the scope of our company's obligation to employ the ex-convicts,
  • To evaluate the recruitment processes of our potential employee, to create personal files of our employees and to maintain our Company's Human Resources policies,
  • To increase the morale and motivation of our employees, their performance level, satisfaction, their interactions with each other and our Company and to ensure their loyalty to our Company,
  • In case of voice and call records in communication with our call centers or Company’s landlines, to identify the communication and the content,
  • To fulfill personal activities more effectively through SAP, PDKS and other platforms,
  • To operate the disciplinary process in cases that may occur in the workplace,
  • To carry out activities for customer satisfaction,
  • To provide access to the internet for our guests visiting our businesses and facilities,
  • To prepare work schedules, to prepare and implement shift lists,
  • To create statistical data, to record visitor information and to provide feedback in case of visiting our website for the purpose of planning and providing services and various logistics activities,
  • To plan domestic / international travel and accommodation provided to company employees,
  • To follow up, finalize and provide feedback on requests, complaints and suggestions submitted to us,
  • To enable our guests, suppliers and staff to define or determine parking spaces,
  1. Transfer of Personal Data

Our processed personal data is transferred within the framework of the above purposes, taking into account the Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK:

  • To our business partnerships or to IBB and IBB affiliates in order to fulfill our public services/commercial activities, to ensure their continuity and coordination,
  • To IBB and its affiliated companies in order to establish a common database, to ensure coordination and cooperation,
  • To our suppliers, business partners, IBB and IBB affiliates in a limited way to provide products and services,
  • To disclose to audit firms, private integrator firms, independent audit firms, financial advisors/ accounting firms, law firms within the scope of contracts related to the IBB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Industry and Technology, TSE, and related public institutions and organizations in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations on the audit of our public services and commercial activities,
  • To the relevant public institutions and organizations, especially SGK and Tax Offices, in order to fulfill the legal obligations stipulated in the laws and to ensure security,
  • To the legally authorized public institutions, organizations and judicial bodies in line with the requests of the relevant public institutions and organizations, limited to the purposes of the request,
  • To our suppliers in order to prepare and implement strategies for our public services and commercial activities,
  • To IBB, to which we are institutionally affiliated, to IBB affiliate companies and district municipalities,
  • To domestic and/or foreign private and public legal entities in order to increase the awareness and brand value of the company, to improve the internet infrastructure and to keep it up to date
  • To domestic and foreign real/legal persons and public institutions and organizations with which we cooperate in order to realize the activities of our company and public services,
  • To third persons and institutions requesting reference based on valid legal reason,
  • To IBB and IBB affiliates, suppliers and solution partners for the purpose of establishing a common database, facilitating the operability of the common database, communication and marketing, brand and reputation management,
  • To software and technology companies established in Turkey and abroad in order to create databases of operating systems and computer programs, to ensure operability, maintenance and repair of the program,
  • To institutions/organizations that provide security, technology and cloud services for digital data established in Turkey and abroad
  • To occupational health and safety companies, hospitals and health institutions in order to fulfill their emergency medical interventions and occupational health and safety obligations,
  • To banks and financial institutions and IBB in order to carry out banking and financial transactions,
  • To our solution partners that carry out repair, maintenance, repair and services, our suppliers and companies operating in this field,
  • To security companies in order to ensure workplace safety,
  • To consultancy firms specialized in financial, commercial and finance, management and human resources in order to create marketing strategies, develop new business areas, increase our quality standards, reduce costs,
  • To our business partners, dealers, suppliers, IBB for the purposes of fulfilling foreign exchange, export-import, financial and financial, legal permits and relevant obligations,
  • To IBB, its affiliates and relevant companies for the purpose of organizing events, conferences, celebrations, weddings and similar social events,

  1. Method and Legal Ground for Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is collected through call centers and verbal, written or digital notifications, including but not limited to any verbal, written and electronic channels, application forms of the real/legal entities that process the data for our company or on behalf of the company, Beyaz Masa, website, various contracts, all kinds of information forms, surveys, job application forms, employment contracts, social media applications, camera records, IBB and other affiliates, customers, suppliers and business partners within the scope of your explicit consent or other data processing conditions stipulated in the KVKK.

This information is obtained for the purpose of providing our commercial and administrative activities within the framework of the laws and for our Company to carry out its public services, to maintain its commercial activities to fulfill its obligations arising from the laws in a complete and correct manner.

Our company stores personal data in line with the purpose of processing personal data. Personal data are stored until the end of the period required by the relevant regulations in case the purpose and/or reason for processing no longer exists. It is necessary for the fulfillment of our legal obligations when the purpose and reason for processing personal data no longer exists.

  1. Storage and Disposal of Personal Data

Personal data will be disposed when the limitation periods are completed. The deletion, disposal and anonymization of personal data within the scope of exception arising from public service will be carried out according to the relevant regulations.

Real persons whose personal data are processed within our company have the following rights in accordance with Article 11 of the KVKK:

The data subjects can submit their requests regarding these rights in writing to our Company’s address specified below by a notice sent via a notary or in person by presenting an identity card. The requests of the data subject will be evaluated and resolved free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty (30) days at the latest. If the evaluation and decision-making process requires an additional cost, the fee in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board will be taken as basis.

  • To ask for the deletion or disposal of personal data or to stop the processing activity in question although it has been processed in accordance with the provisions of the KVKK and other relevant laws if the reasons requiring its processing disappear, and to notify the third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred.
  • To object to any result against the person himself when the processed data is analyzed exclusively through automated systems,
  • To claim indemnification for damages in case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data.
